5 out of 5 stars paper fashion   May 15, 2010
bix (Palmetto, FL, USA)
My 9 yr. old daughter absolutely loves this. It has kept her busy for weeks!

4 out of 5 stars Great for artsy and not-so-artsy kids!   May 2, 2010
JustCallMeBee (Colonie, NY USA)
My 9-year old daughter loves this and the Fancy Fashions. She has always loved drawing different outfits and now she can "make" them. The number of different stencils and "fabrics" is great. The only down-side is that if you get both books (this and the Fancy) some of the stencils are the same. If you are looking for something to allow your child a creative outlet and engage their mind this is definitely the thing!

3 out of 5 stars overpriced for play value   March 23, 2010
ark76 (Virginia)
Cute idea and well made but the quantity of materials didn't last more than a couple of days playtime and for the price I expected more. It is fine for a grandma gift or something to survive a vacation experience, but don't expect it to last too long. It is a modern day paper doll for the crafty 10-12 year old girl.

5 out of 5 stars I've played with it as much as child.   January 7, 2010
Veronica Elliott (Cleveland, OH)
I bought this for the 9 year old girl I watch and we've spent hours designing outfits together. It's a super fun kit. You get lots of different papers to be your fabrics, but we like looking through magazines and the newspaper for cool patterns too. I'm think I'm going to give it to my 12 year old cousin for her birthday in May.

5 out of 5 stars Mamaw picked out the right Christmas present!   December 26, 2009
Lori A. Cheatham (MIssouri)
My 12 year old grandaughter "played" with this for hours Christmas afternoon. She loves it.
You do need a good pair of short pointed scissors. I let her use my squeeze scrapbooking scissors.
I was a little concerned that she might be too old for it, but some girls any younger might get frustrated trying to cut out the little details of the outfits-must be good with scissors!
