Great flash cards November 20, 2008 S. Welker (Littleton, CO) We have had a lot of fun doing these with my 3 year old daughter. We do these before bed and that is all she wants to do know, she looks forward to it
My daughter loves this! September 20, 2008 Happy Mom (Circle Pines, MN) My daughter is 2 1/2 and she loves her BrainQuest! I debated between the 3-4 yr old pack and the toddler pack, and I'm glad I got the 3-4. There are some things that are beyond her yet, but she can answer the majority of them.
Fun, portable entertainment. No batteries needed. March 27, 2008 Fazeela K. (Orlando, FL) I bought this product for my just-turned three year old daughter. We usually do "mommy homework" together and discuss it the next day in the car as we drive to school. Since I am guilty of hoarding my cousin's own Brain Quest from time to time (she's 10), I knew what is about. (By the way, as per the questions... I am definitely not smarter than a fifth grader, but I am getting close.) The price was low enough to not feel so bad if it was to be eventually destroyed like her other toys. I don't think my daughter was much challenged by it. (3-4 year old questions). But there were many things I did like. For example, "What doesn't belong?" and rearranging events, (teaches sequence) But why I gave this product 5 stars, is that she likes to teach other kids and adults from it. There is a wide range of topics and lessons in these little cards. It gives her chance, to role play and what she sees is reinforced as she repeats it. It is portable and very sturdy. It is one of the few things we are able to salvage for our next child. We are able to share it with other kids, and it comes with two bunches of cards. It is also compact enough to fit in her hands. I look forward to purchasing the next level up.
My kids loved it March 8, 2008 Beth P (California) My daughters love to sit on my lap and answer these questions- It's amazing how much they know at this age. You won't be disappointed.
best for 2- or 3-year-old February 18, 2008 Kristina L. Alford (Joplin, MO USA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I bought this on a whim for my 2 1/2-year-old; at the time it was the youngest series on the shelf. She could already answer 3/4 of the questions. She loves to play with the cards and actually brings them to me, but after only a few weeks of play, she's memorized the few questions she didn't know. Don't wait until a 3rd or 4th birthday for this one.
